The financing round was invested by Shanghai Guohe Capital, China Capital Management, and Wuxi Huishan Technology Innovation. Proceeds will be used by Ecar Tech to build a smart factory and expand production capacity to meet the growing industry demands and customer mass production needs.
Ecar Tech aims to become a global leader in autonomous driving equipment, focusing on L4 autonomous driving and drive-by-wire chassis technology. Through its self-developed chassis operating system, full-stack hardware and software drive-by-wire vehicle kits, energy kits, and data-powered connected platforms, Ecar Tech employs a modular development approach to enable rapid, plug-and-play adaptability for various applications, assemblies, and components.
The core of Ecar Tech's product matrix is its pioneering TRAVBOT architecture, which comprises four key components, namely, the ELink connected cloud, ECKIT drive-by-wire kit, EOS software platform, and EPKIT energy kit. This architecture offers a transferable, scalable, and adaptable technical framework with strengths in custom development, rapid evolution, autonomous mobility, and operational reliability.
Based on TRAVBOT, Ecar Tech can shorten the development cycle for new products to under four months, with custom products developed in as little as eight weeks, and new software features iterated in just two weeks.
To date, Ecar Tech has developed over 20 products across urban delivery, sanitation, and security patrol sectors, collaborating deeply with 60% of midstream algorithm partners. Its solutions are deployed in over 60 cities, with more than 1,000 autonomous vehicles delivered, and a total operational distance exceeding 10 million kilometers.
Additionally, in March this year, Ecar Tech announced the establishment of its autonomous vehicle smart factory in the Nanjing city. Once fully operational, the factory will have an annual production capacity of 20,000 units per shift, pioneering an L4 autonomous vehicle production facility that integrates flexible automation with immersive digital experiences. The factory is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2025.
