Beijing (Gasgoo)- On Sept. 9, robotics technology company RoboSense announced the start of large-scale deliveries of its EMX LiDAR to multiple automakers. This milestone marks the mass production phase of its new-generation EM automotive digital LiDAR platform, which includes the EMX, EM4, and customized variants.

The EMX, branded as a "true 192-line" main LiDAR, is targeted at the L2 advanced driver assistance market. It delivers up to 2.88 million points per second, 0.08°×0.1° global resolution, a detection range of 300 meters, and a maximum frame rate of 20 Hz, all in a highly integrated, compact design. Positioned as the optimal solution for mass-market intelligent vehicles, the EMX balances performance with scalability.

For higher-level automation (L3/L4), RoboSense offers the EM4, the industry's only mass-producible ultra-high-resolution digital LiDAR with customizable configurations from 520 to 2,160 lines. Built on a SPAD-SoC and VCSEL digital architecture, the EM4 provides 300 m detection at 10% reflectivity and up to 600 m maximum range. It also improves autonomous driving system responsiveness by up to 70%.

Backed by self-developed chips and a fully digital architecture, RoboSense has built strong technology barriers that are now converting into stable, scalable production capacity. Since launching the EM platform in early 2025, RoboSense has secured mass production projects with eight major global automakers across 45 vehicle models.
