September, 2024 auto sales ranking by all brands

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of BYD amounted to 401,572 units, up 46.69% year on year, the first on September, 2024 auto sales ranking by all brands, according to the September sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of VW amounted to 179,424 units, down 17.35% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 1,385,433 units. September sales of Chery reached 148,726 units, increasing 17.47% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 1,117,701 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
