Yutong Bus expects Q4 new energy bus sales reaching 14,000 units

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- As a traditional leading company in bus manufacturing, Yutong Bus always keeps steady growth. Its new growth points mainly lie in lifting market shares in domestic bus market, growing value for bus, growing exporting volume and electric logistics vehicles. In the short run, the increasing market share and growing value for individual vehicle will be the main factors.

The company targets to seize 40% of domestic market shares in the coming two or three years. The future domestic sales and export sales are expected to reach 84,000 units every year. Benefited from the trend of popularizing electric and large-size vehicles, unit price for large-size electric bus produced by Yutong Bus is expected to reach RMB 700,000. Having not brought great profits or high-valued products yet, electric logistics vehicles will not be put into mass production recently.

Rush manufacturing is expected to take place at the end of year. Although the ending subsidy will decrease profits, auto companies with technological advantages including Yutong Bus will stand out in the competition. It’s also expected that Yutong Bus will face new energy bus sales volume levelling with last year with the number of 14,000 units.

In the meantime, the company has excellent cost control abilities. Therefore, it’s also predicted that the gross profit rate will witness year-on-year growth in Q4.
