All ID. models, including those from FAW VW and SAIC VW, have seen obvious sales increase in the past two months. According to the China Passenger Car Association, the combined retail sales of all ID. models achieved a new milestone with monthly volume exceeding 7,000 vehicles in August, after surpassing 5,000 in July.

Based on Volkswagen’s all-electric platform MEB, the ID. models are very competitive in vehicle quality, range, and space arrangement. To ensure vehicles’ safety in a comprehensive way, ID. vehicles’ battery pack has gone through 197 safety tests as well as extremely strict long sequence tests.

FAW Volkswagen is also carrying out a comprehensive user-centered marketing strategy transformation. For example, in vehicle purchasing, the venture deploys online service, such as online showrooms, customer service and ID.Hub (the official website for FAW Volkswagen’s battery electric vehicles), as well as off-line channels, including brand experience centers and showrooms.
