FTXT Energy partners with FAW Jiefang to drive fuel cell vehicle commercialization

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 12, Chinese fuel cell technology developer, FTXT Energy, inked a strategic cooperation agreement with commercial vehicle player FAW Jiefang in a bid to accelerate the commercialization of hydrogen and fuel cell vehicles.

This partnership is grounded in their respective strengths in fuel cell technology, vehicle development, and application expertise. Under the terms of the agreement, FTXT Energy and FAW Jiefang will collaborate extensively on the promotion and application of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, striving to expand their presence in a broader range of diversified scenarios.

Leveraging their resources and advantages in fuel cell technology, vehicle development, application scenarios, hydrogen vehicle maintenance, and carbon economy, both companies will embark on joint R&D of hydrogen fuel cell products, innovative business models, and the expansion of diverse application scenarios.

The two companies aim to close the loop on the hydrogen energy industry chain. It will facilitate the establishment of hydrogen infrastructure, the demonstration of hydrogen fuel cell commercial vehicles, and the scaling up of the hydrogen energy industry.

This collaboration is poised to expand the application scenarios for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and provide end-users with comprehensive and sustainable green solutions. The partnership is expected to boost the widespread use of hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty trucks, driving green and low-carbon development in the transportation sector.
