FAW Jiefang, TELD join hands to promote application of all-electric commercial vehicles

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- FAW Jiefang Automobile Co., Ltd. ("FAW Jiefang"), and TELD New Energy Co., Ltd. ("TELD"), inked a strategic cooperation agreement in Qingdao on September 20.

This strategic partnership is set to span across the nation, focusing on the promotion and deployment of pure electric commercial vehicles, paving the way for innovations in related products and the development of charging infrastructures.

As for the promotion of electric commercial vehicles, both parties will collaborate in industry client development and government policy guidance, aiming to drive the adoption and distribution of electric commercial vehicles and establish a dedicated charging network for logistics applications.

Regarding the construction of electric vehicle charging stations, the partnership will identify key cities for charging network planning and work towards bolstering energy supply networks in the context of long-haul logistics and transportation scenarios.

On the international front, both parties will align their business operations and market expansion with their respective global strategies. They intend to deepen cooperation in overseas vehicle sales, and the establishment and operation of charging networks.

In the realm of data security and sharing, the duo intends to achieve interconnection of charging station information, data sharing, and the integration of data flows.

Besides, their future technology innovation initiatives will encompass high-power charging, automatic charging, vehicle-to-grid (V2G) systems, energy trading, carbon emissions reduction, and other novel technologies and scenarios.

In the days ahead, FAW Jiefang and TELD are set to diversify commercial vehicle applications, enhance the layout of charging infrastructures, and provide comprehensive, sustainable, and efficient green solutions.
