Tesla raises Model Y’s price by 5,000 yuan in China
Beijing (Gasgoo)- On April 1, Tesla's official website in China revealed price increases for the Model Y lineup.
The Model Y Standard Range's price has risen to 263,900 yuan, the Long Range to 304,900 yuan, and the Performance to 368,900 yuan, with each seeing a 5,000-yuan increase.

Previously, Tesla had announced price hikes in North America and Europe.
On March 1 this year, the Rear-Wheel-Drive and Long Range versions of the Model Y in North America saw their prices rise by $1,000 each, to $43,990 and $48,990, respectively. On March 16, Tesla's website hinted at another $1,000 increase for the Model Y in North America starting April 1. On March 17, Tesla announced price increases for the Model Y in some European countries, with hikes of around 2,000 euros or equivalent local currency.
In March, Tesla China introduced limited-time offers, including an 8,000-yuan insurance subsidy for on-hand vehicles and up to 10,000 yuan off paint color options. These policies ended by the end of March. With the latest price adjustments, the Model Y has seen its price increase by up to 23,000 yuan overall.
