BYD enhances global reach with arrival of "EXPLORER NO.1" car carrier in Brazil

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Recently, BYD's "EXPLORER NO.1" car carrier completed a 27-day transoceanic journey from China to Brazil, arriving at Suape Port, according to a post on BYD's official WeChat account.

BYD stated that the "EXPLORER NO.1" car carrier, equipped with cutting-edge technology, can adapt to diverse route requirements and accommodate various new energy vehicles, significantly enhancing BYD's ability to meet international market demands. Tyler Li, President of BYD Brazil, remarked, "BYD is continuously improving the construction of an eco-smart international logistics system. We are committed to integrating sustainability and innovative technology into all green mobility solutions."

This arrival marked a new record for Suape Port, with 5,459 BYD new energy vehicles being received in a single shipment.

In the Brazilian market, after ten years of dedicated effort, BYD has introduced its new energy passenger vehicles, electric buses, electric trucks, electric forklifts, and SkyRail to Brazil, implementing comprehensive sustainable transportation solutions locally. In July 2023, BYD announced the establishment of a large production base complex consisting of three factories in Camaçari, leveraging its full industry chain advantages to actively promote the green transformation of local transportation electrification.
