The project, located in the core area of Beilun within the Yongjiang Innovation Zone, covers an area north of Chenshan Road, east of Yongjiang Avenue, and south of Kangleqiao Street. With a total investment of 440 million yuan and a planned building area of approximately 46,000 square meters, the project is scheduled for completion in March 2028. Upon completion, it will serve as Geely's NEV project management headquarters, housing functions for research and development, procurement, sales, after-sales service, human resources, finance, and administration.

In recent years, Ningbo has become a hub for major automotive brands, with Geely Auto Group, Lynk & Co, smart, and ZEEKR all establishing global or regional headquarters in the city. From January to August 2024, Geely's production facilities in Beilun manufactured 79,000 vehicles, reflecting a 19.7% year-on-year increase. Of this total, NEV production reached 44,800 units, a staggering 5.7-fold increase compared to the previous year.

Remarkably, the construction plan for the Geely NEV headquarters was firmed up in June this year, achieving the groundbreaking milestone in just four months.
