Xiaomi EV officially began deliveries of its first model on April 3, 2024, and achieved its first 100,000-unit delivery milestone by November 18 of the same year—just seven and a half months later. Currently, Xiaomi's product lineup includes the SU7, SU7 Ultra, and the newly launched YU7.
The Xiaomi YU7, hitting the market on June 26, is the company's second mass-produced model and is positioned as a "luxury high-performance SUV." It comes with three variants starting at 253,500 yuan. Within three minutes of sale opening, over 200,000-unit orders were secured. Within 18 hours, that number had surged past 240,000 locked-in orders.

Designed to directly compete with the Tesla Model Y, the YU7 comes standard across all variants with advanced features such as LiDAR sensor, Xiaomi's Xiaomi HyperVision Panoramic Display, rear 135° reclining electric seats, an 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform, 700 TOPS computing power for driver assistance, and adaptive damping suspension.
Measuring 4,999 mm in length, 1,996 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, with a 3,000 mm wheelbase, the YU7 is built on Xiaomi's new-generation EV design language. While visually aligned with the SU7 family, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has emphasized that the YU7 is not simply a stretched version of the SU7. The vehicle features a closed front fascia, cross-shaped LED daytime running lights, upper air channels, and dual-lens lower headlights.
Inside, the standout feature is the Xiaomi HyperVision Panoramic Display stretching one meter across the base of the windshield. Powered by Xiaomi's HyperOS system, the screen can display three independent interfaces simultaneously, seamlessly mirror smartphone apps, and integrate with rear-seat tablets and the broader Xiaomi smart home ecosystem.
On the ADAS front, all YU7 models include LiDAR, 4D millimeter-wave radar, 11 HD cameras, and 12 ultrasonic sensors. The SUV runs on the NVIDIA Thor platform, delivering 700 TOPS of computing power, alongside Xiaomi's four-in-one domain controller and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip built on a 4nm process.
Performance-wise, the YU7 series is built on an 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform and equipped with Xiaomi's HyperEngine V6s Plus e-motor. The base YU7 features a single-motor rear-wheel drive system that accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.88 seconds, delivering 235 kW of peak power and 528 Nm of torque. The YU7 Pro offers dual-motor all-wheel drive with a 0–100 km/h sprint in 4.27 seconds, peaking at 365 kW and 690 Nm. The YU7 Max pushes performance further, reaching 100 km/h in just 3.23 seconds with 508 kW and 866 Nm of torque.
In terms of range, the YU7 and YU7 Pro come with a 96.3 kWh LFP battery, offering CLTC ranges of 835 km and 770 km, respectively. The top-spec Max variant uses a 101.7 kWh ternary lithium battery for 760 km of range.
