Oct. 27 , 2016According to China Passenger Car Association, the production of strictly defined passenger vehicles nationwide in China stood at 1,754,000 units, down by 14.2% against this March while up by 6.7% against last April. In the meantime, China has sold 1,638,000 passenger vehicles, down by 11.1% against this March while up by 8.1% against last April. For the first four months of 2016, the production of strictly defined passenger vehicles totaled 7,191,000 units, up by 7.7% compared against the same period last year while the sales of that totaled 7,081,000 units, up by 9%. Cui Dongshu, the general secretary of China Passenger Car Association, concluded that China auto sales fall below expectation this April.
