VW's DSG gearboxes have been the subject of much attention in the country, with widespread complaints of problems occurring. Following two meetings with the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, VW finally decided to extend warrantee coverage for its seven-speed DQ200 and DQ250 dual clutch transmissions.
