Recently, Shanghai Volkswagen released the August sales data: on August 2013, Shanghai Volkswagen totally sold 133,081 vehicles, an increase of 26.4% year-on-year, and took the passenger car sales Crown this month. By now, Shanghai Volkswagen cumulative sales of the first 8 months of this year has reached 1,022,008, breaking the million sales 2 months earlier compared to last year.

According to SAIC sales bulletin on Aug 7, Shanghai Volkswagen sold 104,638 vehicles in July, rises 11.2% over the same period of last year, which was 94,101.
