Li Auto’s January deliveries fell from its record-high results in December 2022, which came in at 21,233 vehicles. Since the delivery of the first Li Auto-branded vehicle, the startup has cumulatively delivered 272,475 vehicles to users as of January 2023.
“We ranked first in both China’s full-size and large SUV markets for the full year of 2022, thanks to the outstanding sales performance of all three models we have brought to the market: Li L9, Li L8, and Li ONE”, said Li Xiang, founder, chairman, and CEO of the startup. More importantly, the L7 all-new five-seater family SUV will be officially launched on February 8, the CEO added.
Early on, the L7 was showcased as a surprise at Li Auto’s L8 launch event on September 30 last year, with reservations kicking off at the same time. The L7 inherits the automaker’s signature design, like the L8 and the L9, with split-type headlights and a light strip across the hood. As same as the L8, the L7 also offers two variants, the Pro and the Max version, which is installed with one or two Qualcomm 8155 chips, respectively.
By the end of January 2023, Li Auto’s distribution and service network has expanded to include 296 retail stores in 123 cities, as well as 320 servicing centers and Li Auto-authorized body and paint shops in 222 cities in China.
