Lynk & Co 08’s first mass-produced unit rolls off assembly line
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Lynk & Co, the premium automotive brand jointly owned by Geely and Volvo Cars, today announced the first mass-produced unit of the Lynk & Co 08 plug-in hybrid electric SUV has rolled off the production line.

The vehicle has already entered the pre-sale phase, with prices ranging from 218,000 yuan to 278,000 yuan, and the Time Limited special edition priced at 288,000 yuan, with only 1,008 units available. Coming with five variants, the Lynk & Co 08 is set to hit the market on September 8, followed by gradual deliveries.
The Lynk & Co 08 marks the brand's maiden model that rides on the CMA Evo architecture. Equipped with the EM-P super extended-range electric solution, it seamlessly integrates performance and endurance. Drawing inspiration from the conceptual design of "The Next Day," the Lynk & Co 08 boasts a striking identity with its distinctive front fascia characterized by sharp matrix-style headlights and a unique “Urban Skyline Tech” light strip that showcases various lighting effects.

The vehicle features frameless doors and concealed handles, along with frameless rearview mirrors. Its dimensions measure 4,820mm in length, 1,915mm in width, and 1,685mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,848mm, positioning it as a midsize SUV.

Inside, the Lynk & Co 08 is equipped with a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster and a 15.4-inch central control touchscreen. The vehicle incorporates five millimeter-wave radars, ten cameras, HD mapping, and body sensors to achieve a commendable level of intelligent driving.
The Lynk & Co 08 integrates two high-capacity 7nm "SE1000" chips, boasting an NPU computing power of 16 TOPS and a GPU computing power of 1,800G FLOPS—equivalent to two Qualcomm 8155 chips. The Lynk & Co 08 also pioneers the LYNK Flyme Auto infotainment system, featuring the Smart Bar design and a diverse app ecosystem.
Powering the Lynk & Co 08 is a plug-in hybrid electric system that supports a three-motor, four-wheel-drive setup (P1+P3+P4), delivering a combined output of up to 436 kW and a peak torque of 905 N·m, and enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. The vehicle offers four driving modes: electric, super extended-range, performance, and off-road.
In terms of range, the version fitted with a 39.8 kWh battery pack boasts a pure electric range of 245 km according to CLTC standards, and a combined range of up to 1,400 km.
