BYD Auto hits production milestone of 7 millionth new energy vehicle

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On March 25, a momentous occasion was marked in the automotive industry as BYD Auto celebrated the roll-off of its 7 millionth new energy vehicle, a new DENZA N7. This achievement not only signifies BYD Auto's significant production milestone but also sets the stage for the official market launch of the new DENZA N7 on April 1.

The new DENZA N7 showcases a refined aesthetic with a more streamlined front fascia. A standout change is the sleek redesign of the unique headlamp assembly, incorporating black crystal LiDAR panels in the fog light areas, blending aesthetic appeal with practical technology. 

The side and rear profiles of the vehicle maintain their existing designs. The substantial use of black trims, combined with the coupe-like body, conveys a strong sense of sportiness.

In terms of dimensions, the new DENZA N7 measures 4,860mm in length, 1,935mm in width, and 1,602mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2.940mm.

BYD Auto has announced plans for an OTA update for the new vehicle in the second quarter, which will include voice shortcut commands, multi-vehicle connectivity, DENZA Box, and DENZA Voice Live among other features. The vehicle continues to impress with its high-end equipment, such as a 50-inch AR-HUD, a 17.3-inch central control screen, and a 10.25-inch co-driver screen. It retains its luxurious 5D cloud-sensing seats, Devialet sound system, and rear-seat heating, ventilation, and massage functions, with the addition of a streaming rearview mirror enhancing its feature set.

In the power department, the new DENZA N7 will carry forward its dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, comprising a front AC asynchronous motor with a maximum power of 160 kW and a rear permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 230 kW. The anticipated range is expected to remain consistent with the current model, at 630km.
