In terms of exterior design, the NIO ES7 still adopts the NIO's X-Bar family design language. It features a sealed-off grille to indicate its all-electric vehicle essence. The concave body panel can not only reflect a simplicity front design, but also help the vehicle be more aerodynamic. In the lower part, there is an A-shaped air intake coupled with a silvery skid plate. The dual-beam LED headlights echo with the double-dash daytime running lights.

At the rear, the raked back glass accentuates the vehicle's sporty stance, and a long rear spoiler can help generate downforce as air passes around it. The tailight cluster also adopts the trendy design that makes a slender light strip stretch across the SUV's width.

The interior of the NIO ES7 looks similar to that of the ET7, the first production model built on the NT2.0 platform. In the ‘PanoCinema’ digital cockpit, such anemities can be seen, including a bridge-type center console, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and two free-standing screens – a compact instrument cluster in landscape orientation and a large central display in portrait orientation.
