The 20,000th Shangjie H5 was delivered on December 9, 2025. The leap to 30,000 units took just over a month.

The Shangjie H5 is the debut model under HIMA's "fifth realm," Shangjie. Positioned as a mid-size SUV, it hit the market on September 23, 2025, priced between 159,800 and 199,800 yuan.

Built on the SAIC Roewe ES39 and utilizing SAIC's Nebula EV platform, the Shangjie H5 features Huawei's smart cockpit and intelligent driving systems. The vehicle measures 4,780 mm long, 1,910 mm wide, and 1,664 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm. It comes equipped with a 192-line lidar and 4D imaging radar, running on the HUAWEI ADS 4 driver assistance system. This system covers highways, city streets, and rural roads, offering what the company claims is the segment's only end-to-end navigation assistance, along with forward, rearward, and lateral collision prevention.

Visually, the H5 adopts the closed front fascia typical of new-energy vehicles, centered by the brand's latest logo. A roof-mounted lidar complements the illuminated emblem and intelligent driving blue lights, creating a high-tech aesthetic. Buyers can choose from six exterior colors: Cloud Water Blue, Midsummer Purple, Ya Chuan Cyan, Ceramic White, Moon Rock Gray, and Gilded Black.

Powertrain options include both extended-range and pure-electric variants. The pure-electric model features a rear-mounted single motor available in 150 kW and 180 kW outputs. Depending on the configuration, it pairs with either a 64.6 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery or an 80 kWh ternary lithium battery, offering CLTC ranges of 525 km, 535 km, 640 km, and 655 km. The extended-range version utilizes SAIC's DMH 1.5L range extender engine paired with a 32.6 kWh battery, providing a CLTC battery-powered range of 235 km.

Separately, SAIC Motor President Jia Jianxu previously revealed that Shangjie is expected to launch at least two new models in 2026, positioning them as the design flagships of the HIMA lineup.
