Gasgoo.com (Shanghai May 31) - There has been a lot of movement among Chinese automobile enterprises as of late. First, Great Wall Deputy General Manager Jia Yaquan left the manufacturer after over a decade of service to join Foton as head of domestic sales. Following on his footsteps, Jianghuai's passenger automobile division General Manager Wang Chaoyun has also left his company to join Foton, xkb.com.cn reported today.
Mr. Wang (pictured above) has worked at JAC for almost 30 years. When asked for more details on the issue, Mr. Wang was reported as being very evasive, refusing to comment on the matter. He may take the roles of vice president and brand manager that were originally held by Huang Huaqiong.
Under Mr. Wang's leadership, JAC's Refine (pictured below) was able to rise up the minivan sales charts. He also oversaw the manufacturer's successful transition into the sedan segment.
At the beginning of the year, JAC's Chairman Zuo Yan'an stepped down. He was largely credited with the strong sales growth JAC experienced during his 15 years at the manufacturer. He was replaced by former President An Jin.
