Porsche is showcasing a China-exclusive Panamera Exclusive Edition, the new 911 GT4 R race car, and several classic models, highlighting its latest strides in localized products, customer racing, and the automotive aftermarket.

Tailored specifically for the Chinese market, the Panamera Exclusive Edition comes standard with 20-inch Panamera Turbo wheels, black leather interior, and Shadow Silver trim elements. It also features a custom in-car application developed in partnership with Xiaohongshu, reinforcing the localized digital experience.

The new 911 GT4 R is making its public debut in China. As Porsche's first customer racing car built on the 911 platform for global GT4 competition, the vehicle is slated for its racing premiere in the 2027 season. Porsche is also offering pathways for participation and professional development through track experiences, the Sports Cup, the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, and its Young Driver Program.

The classic car business is another focal point of the showcase. In October 2025, Porsche plans to introduce the first batch of five classic vehicles through a pilot mechanism in collaboration with the Shanghai Jiading Comprehensive Bonded Zone. By 2026, related experiences will expand from static displays and closed-road driving to public roads in Shanghai, Moganshan, and Beijing. During this year's expo, classic models—including the 1961 356 B 1600 S Roadster—are on display at the Jiading zone's booth.
In June, China's Ministry of Commerce and eight other departments issued policies to boost aftermarket consumption, explicitly supporting new business models for classic cars and the development of motorsports. Alexander Pollich, President and CEO of Porsche China, stated that the brand will continue to build expertise through customer racing and classic car pilot programs, aiming to expand the landscape of sports car culture.
