Pirelli wins tire manufacturing award in China
Pirelli & Cie SpA was recently named "Best Tire Manufacturer of the Year" at this year's China Auto Service Golden Finger Awards.
"Winning this award is recognition of our current hard work in China," says S. Ranghieri, marketing and retailing director for Pirelli China.
"In the coming years, Pirelli will continue to invest in product development and technology innovation to make (its) Chinese industrial facilities the biggest Pirelli production center for the China, Asian and Australian markets."
Pirelli has been manufacturing tires in China since 2005. It also maintains a research center in the country.
The Golden Finger Awards are presented by China’s Auto Driving & Service Magazine and the Sohu Auto Channel.
