Brazil to levy anti-dumping duty on China tires

Shanghai, December 23 (Gasgoo.com) Brazilian Chamber of Foreign Trade (Camex) has decided to impose anti-dumping duties on truck and bus tires imported from China, according to a report on the web of China Ministry of Commerce.

The report said the Brazil Chamber would levy a $1.33 temporary anti-dumping tax on every kilogram of Chinese-made tires imported to the South American country.

Brazil's local media reported that prices of Chinese-made tires sold in the Brazilian market are 67 percent lower than those imported from other countries.
