Shanghai, March 26 (Gasgoo.com) The heavy-duty truck industry has remarkably recovered from the financial crisis as a result of the auto industry stimulus plan and 4 trillion yuan ($586 billion) investments. Obviously, this is far beyond expectation and analysts suggest that CNHTC (China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co Ltd) has the potential to become the market leader.

CICC (China International Capital Co Ltd) conducted a research on the listed heavy-duty truck companies and predicted that these companies will bring in better profits as well as sales. Analysts forecast CNHTC and Weichai Power's market shares will increase from 20.6% to 27% and from 12% to 14.5% respectively, since these two parties are the main beneficiaries of the industry's structural recovery.

CICC's researcher Wang Zhihui pointed out that the sales of CNHTC, Foton Motor, and Weichai Power has already rallied. Currently CNHTC's daily order volume is 700 to 1,000 units. The company's sales volume in March achieved a new record with approximately 20,000 units, following around 10,000 units' output in February.

At the same time, the sales volume of Weichai Power's engines is expected to exceed 36,000 units and achieves positive growth from the same period lasty year.
