Ford Motor to bring leading techs to China in '10

Shanghai, April 28 (Gasgoo.com) Ford Motor is displaying exciting vehicles and leading technologies at the Shanghai Auto Show. "Technologies such as Ford EcoBoost and PowerShift, as showcased in the Iosis MAX, highlight Ford's ongoing commitment to fuel economy and sustainability," Robert Graziano, chairman and CEO of Ford China said. "We are pleased to confirm that both Ford EcoBoost and PowerShift technologies will be available in the China market in 2010."

Ford's New Fiesta made by Changan Ford, the U.S. automaker's Chinese venture with Changan Auto, achieved better sales than expected in recent two months and now the market demand is outpacing its output. Ford is also selling locally made Focus and Mondeo cars in the Chinese market.
