Beijing Benz taps car leasing business

Shanghai August 24 (Gasgoo.com) On August 18, Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd. held a “Car Leasing Contract Signing and Delivery Ceremony for Locally Produced Benz” at one of its dealer's.

On the ceremony, Beijing Benz delivered 60 brand new E-Class and C-Class vehicles, both having longer wheelbase than the standard models, to Beijing Taxicab and Livery Association (BTLA). All of the vehicles were produced by Beijing Benz.

The cooperation between Beijing Benz and BTLA will help energize the joint venture's sales growth.

The car leasing market, which always focuses on the mid- and low-end models, is lack of high-end models. The introduction of Benz' two models will certainly “open a new page” in the industry.
