Hyundai H-1 MPV coming to China by year end

Shanghai September 25 (Gasgoo.com) Hyundai Motor said recently that it will launch its premium MPV H-1 in the Chinese market at the end of this year, pcauto.com reported Saturday.

Moreover, the South Korean automaker will display six models, including a stretched version of its flagship Equus sedan, Hyundai Rohens, a full-size, rear-wheel drive luxury car, as well as the Hyundai H-1 at the Imported Auto Expo (IAE) to be held in Beijing on October 2. 

Hyundai H-1, known as Hyundai Starex in Korea, is based on the JAC Refine MPV, and will be sold as an imported model, under its Chinese name, "Hui Yi" in the country.

As a nine-seater luxury wagon, the H-1 has a wheelbase of 3,200mm. The all-new MPV is powered by a 2.4L engine, delivering maximum power of 174hp, and is paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission (AT).
