FAW's second plant goes into operation

From Global Times| October 10 , 2010 09:44 BJT

FAW is placing a big bet on whether its new plant in Changchun could help relieve the problem of its best-selling model Mazda 6's lack of production.

This move also alters Besturn (Benteng) B70 and B50's current sharing of the same production line with Mazda 6.

The plant's primarily intended production capability is of 100,000 units and will reach 200,000 units by 2012.
