In the first nine months of this year, Mercedes-Benz sold 103,350 cars in mainland China, 129% more than in the same period of last year, thus achieving its sales target of 100,000 in advance, the automaker said on its website.

Sales of Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedans hit 2,420 units last month. In the first nine months of this year, sales of S-Class surged 75% year on year to 16,460. China remained the largest market worldwide for S-Class sedans.
