Geely Englon SC5-RV to go on sale in China next week

Shanghai November 3 (Gasgoo.com) The Geely Englon SC5-RV, a sporty small hatchback, will go on sale in China on November 11 and be available in two versions, Xinhua News Agency reported yesterday.

Geely officials did not confirm the information though.

The Englon SC515-RV will initially be equipped with the 1.5 L MR479Q engine, delivering maximum power of 63 kW and peak torque of 110 Nm, and paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Sources said the SC515-RV will later come in a version with automatic transmission.

The new car measures (LxWxH) 3919mm x 1745mm x 1505mm, providing more space with a super long wheelbase of 2461mm, judging from the spot pictures released in August. Price will start around 65,000 yuan ($9,700), according to sources.
