Volvo unveils new concept and EVs at Auto Shanghai 2011

Among them, the Concept Universe (pictured above) made its debut yesterday. The Concept Universe find its heritage from past Volvo models while employing a new organic design language, combining the brand's tradition for functional automobiles with Western luxury design.
The V60 plug-in hybrid (pictured below) made its Asian debut today. The V60, which will begin production in 2012, is a grand tourer that shows the manufacturer's commitment to environmentally friendly cars. It is joined by the C30 electric compact, also making its first appearance in Asia.
In addition Volvo was proud to bring over a classic Amazon 123GT, a highly limited sports version of the company's famed 1970s mid-size.
