Dongfeng Yulon Luxgen SUV to be produced by July at earliest

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai June 23) - Production of the Luxgen SUV, Dongfeng Yulon's first independently manufactured vehicle, is set to begin between July and August of this year, the Beijing Times reported today.

Meanwhile, the dealer network for the Luxgen is still being set up, with three dealers in Beijing established already. Dongfeng Yulon hopes to have 57 dealers operating in major cities nationwide. The joint venture is also planning to open so-called 'experience centers' to help users get a first-hand feel for the Luxgen. "We will take a look at customer response, and add more dealers as deemed necessary," a source from the JV said.
