Dongfeng Honda recalls over 50000 CR-Vs
Gasgoo.com (Shanghai January 12) - In accordance with the Regulations for Recall of Defective Automobiles, Dongfeng Honda has issued a recall of 50,410 CR-V SUVs, china.com.cn reported, quoting information from the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. The CR-Vs targeted have manufacture dates ranging from early September to late November of last year.
The CR-Vs (pictured) in question are being recalled due to a supplier fault which may cause the cables in the front headlights unable to resist large amounts of heat, which in extreme circumstances may cause the headlights to burst.
Dongfeng Honda will administer free inspection and repair of all affected CR-Vs. Dongfeng Honda dealers will contact owners of affected vehicles via mail, phone and other methods to set up an appointment.
