Dongfeng recalls over 8800 Nissan Tiida Yida vehicles
Gasgoo.com (Shanghai February 24) - Dongfeng Motor has issued a recall for the Yida version of the Nissan Tiida compact, Caijing quoted the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine as announcing. The recall targets 8,818 Tiidas manufactured between late March 2011 and late December 2011 and equipped with the MR16 engine.
The Tiidas (pictured) in question are being recalled due to a potential flaw with the locking mechanisms in their fuel pressure sensors. Under extreme circumstances fuel leaks may occur as a result of the problem, leading to potential safety risks. Dongfeng Motor will provide free maintenance and repair of all recalled vehicles.
