2013 Volvo S60 comes to Chinese market
Gasgoo.com (Shanghai September 25) - The 2013 Volvo S60 has made its official Chinese market debut earlier this week, xgo.com.cn reported today. The luxury sedan is available in six different variants priced between 282,900 yuan and 499,900 yuan ($44,701-$78,988).
The S60 (pictured) comes in 12 different paint colors and with five different interior color schemes. The new S60 offers several advancements over its predecessor, with large xenon fog lamps, electric heated power seats, cruise control, parking aid system, keyless entry and a genuine leather steering wheel all available on higher-level variants.
The new S60 no longer uses the 1.6 turbocharged engine used in the previous model. The entry level variant instead is powered by a 2.0 L four-valve turbocharged engine. A 2.0 L five-valve turbocharged engine and a 305 hp 3.0 L inline six turbocharged engine are available as power options for higher-level variants. Both are mated to a six-speed manumatic transmission.
In other news, Volvo has made it clear that it wants to join the SUV fray with the V40 Cross Country. The V40-based SUV is expected to make its market debut next January.
