Geely announces internal management reorganization

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai May 17) - Geely announced a new reorganization of its management team, Gasgoo.com (Chinese) reported today. Sun Xiaodong, deputy head of the Geely's brand development and product planning, will also head up the manufacturer's sales division. He will assume Liu Jinliang's role, who will now work as deputy head for the manufacturer's new energy vehicle sales department.

According to an announcement made by Geely, Liu Jinliang's (pictured below) appointment to the new energy vehicle department will help the manufacture achieve strategic development and marketing management requirements, as well as aid in its expansion in the field of new energy vehicles. "We must grasp the opportunity to develop our new energy vehicles," Geely Automobile Chairman Li Shufu stated. "We must make use of our experience and ability, coordinate our resources and take action to reach a breakthrough in our new energy vehicle sales work."

The news marks Geely's most recent internal transfer. Earlier in April, Geely announced that Zhao Fuquan, assistant head of the manufacturer's R&D division, will be leaving his post. His position will be assumed by Feng Qingfeng.
