Former FAW General Manager under investigation for corruption

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai Oct 14) – Xiaojun Zhang, former General Manager of FAW car sales company, was stripped of Party membership and expelled from public office for seriously violating the disciplines, according to the Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Ministry of Supervision at FAW Group.

Zhang was accused to accept huge bribes and kickbacks from different people in connection with the establishments of Audi 4S stores and various sales campaigns during 2006 to 2012, when he worked as General Manager of Audi Operations in FAW sales company. Besides, Zhang was also accused for holding a huge amount of property with unidentified sources.

Zhang is now under investigation by related judicial authorities for the allegations of corruption.
