Chery targets 393,000 units and 7 new models in 2007

In the annual conference of Chery Auto held in Beijing, Yin Tongyao,  chairman& general-manager of Cheryannounced that the sales target of 2007 will be 393,000 units and 7 new models will be launched.

323,000 units are planned to be produced domestically, of which 70,000 units will be exported. Yin Tongyao added Chery would start overseas programs comprehensively in 2007. The North America programs were expected to achieve initiate success, and it’s sure that new hybrid vehicles would be launched in 2007.
