BMW Group ME strengthens relations with Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors
BMW Group Middle East pledged its continuous unlimited commitment to Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors, the exclusive dealer of BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce cars in Saudi Arabia, as the companies drew up future plans amid the recent strong sales record.
In the first visit to the Kingdom, Phil Horton, BMW Middle East Regional General Manager, since assuming office, met with Sheikh Mohammed Yousuf Naghi, President of Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors, to discuss the plans in Saudi market for the three brands of the Group in the light of its unprecedented success during the past period, particularly BMW cars, which have achieved remarkable sales increase in recent years.
Musa Al-Aruri, General Manager of Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors, said: "Horton's visit to Saudi Arabia for the first time, which came few weeks after assuming the office as Regional General Manager of BMW Group Middle East, underlines the commitment of BMW Group Middle East to support our efforts to preserve the gains we have made in the Saudi market, which is important for the BMW Group Middle East, and to enable us to work together to increase customer satisfaction through the development of our showrooms and service centers."
He added that "Horton promised during our meeting to continue to provide unlimited support for all activities of Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors (MYNM) in Saudi Arabia to maintain the current high sales volume. He also praised the efforts of MYNM which contributed to the remarkable achievements in sales during the last period of the current year, in continuation of what we had achieved in 2006."
The BMW 7 Series continued to maintain the title "Star of BMW cars sales" during the first quarter of this year, as well as the 5 Series which made an equally impressive record.
Al-Aruri further said that "Horton also praised the large investment made by MYNM in establishing new showrooms and new advanced service centers in Jeddah, Riyadh, Jubail and Makkah, along with the establishment of completely separate service centers for MINI cars in Jeddah and Riyadh, in addition to the installation of a new complex for servicing BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce cars in Jeddah at a cost of SR50 million on a total area of 35,000 square meters."
Horton was accompanied by Frank Nadler, Regional Sales Manager for BMW Group Middle East.
