China on the escalator to master diesel engine core technology
China automaker FAW (First Auto Works) has successfully developed an electronic controlled high pressure common rail injection diesel engine named as CA6DL recently, which means China is the fourth country to master the engine core technology "electronic controlled high pressure common rail injection system". Currently FAW,s technology center operation has been started.
The engine system has 12 patents, and it was to developed solely by the technical researchers from Faw Group on the advanced platform built up by Faw. China is now the fourth country to master the technology, following Germany, U.S. and Japan.
