NDRC unveiled list of licensed automakers and vehicle models

China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) unveiled the latest list of auto manufacturers and their products that are qualified to enter the market. A total of 28 models developed by 15 enterprises are included in the list and most of the car models are developed by homegrown automakers.

Jiangnan Automobile Co's two new cars with 1.3 and 1.5 liters engines are included and two models from BYD, the F3Rand F6 are also included in the list. Brilliance M3, which will be launched in October, is also include in the list. Chery Auto has four models in the list - Tiggo 2.0L, A5 1.8L, Qiyun1.2L and 1.6L.

New models developed by Shanghai-GM, Chang'an Ford Mazda, Nanjing Fiat, etc. also got listed, but most of the cars in the list are redesigned models, such as redesigned Mondeo, Cerato, Polo and Touran.
