HF auto exports 2500 cars to Russia in H1

Harbin HF Automobile Industry Group Co Ltd, one of the backbone auto manufacturer and R&D base of automobile and engine in China, has exported more than 3000 cars in the first half of 2007, China Securities Journal reported on Tuesday.

Among these exporting cars, 2500 were sold to Russia, more than the total exports of last year, the company told the Journal.

The cars exported to Russia are mainly HF Lobo and HF Saima, and the company is planning to launch a new business car, the senior management of the company revealed.

According to the report, Hafei has inked exporting contracts of 8000 cars on China Harbin International Fair for Trade and Economic Cooperation (CHTF) held during June 15 to 19, 2007 in Harbin, Heilongjiang province of China.

Hafei will keep on exploring the Russian market on the Moscow International Motor Show which is to be held at the end of August this year.

There have been around 60 Hafei Automobile dealers in Moscow, and Hafei is shaping a complete sales and services network, told the company.
