Chang'an Star sales top one million
Shanghai. September 30 (Gasgoo.com) The aggregate sales of Chang'an Star, a mini-van model produced by Chang'an Automobile, have topped one million vehicles this month, the company announced yesterday.
Since its debut in 1998, the mini-van model has soon become a leader in mini-vehicle segment of Chinese automobile market. Chang'an Star is the only mini-van model that sold one million units in Chinese auto market.
Chang'an Star is mini-van model developed by Chang'an Automobile and Japanese automaker Suzuki. It is powered by a 1.0 liter engine and priced 30,000 - 40,000 yuan (US$3,995-5,326).
