Local brands represent 27 percent of Chinese sedan market

Shanghai. October 30 (Gasgoo.com) - A total amount of 943,000 local brand sedans were sold in the first nine months in China, which represents 27 percent of Chinese sedan market, according to China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
 
In the first half of this year, 659,800 units of local brand sedans were sold in Chinese market, which represents 28.85 percent of China’s sedan market.
 
However, all Chinese-made local brands are compact sedans in the lower segment of Chinese sedan market. The table below shows the top 8 best selling local brands in Chinese sedan market.
