BYD Won the Bidding of a CNY1.8 Billion Battery Electric Buses Purchase Project
Gasgoo.com (Shanghai April 14th)– According to an announcement released by BYD, BYD Auto Industry Co., Ltd, one of its subsidiary, has recently participated in the bidding of the “2016 Shenzhen Eastern Bus Co., Ltd. Solution to Upgrade 3,024 Battery Electric Buses Project”.
Under the project, Shenzhen Eastern Bus Co., Ltd. appointed the Shenzhen United Property and Share Rights Exchange to carry out an open engagement. According to the announcement published on the website of Shenzhen United Property and Share Rights Exchange on April 12th, BYD Auto Industry Co., Ltd has been confirmed as the first ranked supplier. The total amount of the aforesaid subjects could reach to approximately CNY 1,812,480,000, excluding national and municipal government allowances.
If the Project is successfully implemented, there will be surely a positive effect on the operating results of the Company.
To be noted, as the announcement is still within the announcement period, it’s uncertain whether the “Notice of Successful Bid” can be obtained and the relevant contracts executed ultimately.
