Rao Jie to succeed Chen Xi as the new General Manager at Dongfeng Citroen

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai April 28th)– It’s known by the reporter of China Business News, Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile has assgined Rao Jie as the new General Manager of its Dongfeng Citroen brand. Chengxi, the former brand General Manager will take a new postion in Dongfeng Motor Corporation.

To be noted, ChenXi still appeared as the Brand’s General Manager at Beijing Auto Show just a couple days ago. He was transferred from Dongfeng Peugeot in the year of 2014 and has been the General Manager of Dongfeng Citroen ever since.

During his term of office, Chen Xi has accelerated the implementing of the company mid-term strategy of “LongTeng C”, which ended in 2015 successfully with several breakthroughs in brand positioning, product technologies and customer services. Chen Xi’s contribution is much recognized and appreciated by Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile.

Chen Xi’s successor Rao Jie, who has been the regional sales director, products platform director in marketing, and also head responsible for human resource and services at Dongfeng Citroen, is not only very experienced in automobile marketing and management, but also has a profound understanding of the Dongfeng Citroen brand.

Reportedly, besides Chen Xi and Rao Jie, there will be other personal changes in the management layer of Dongfeng Citroen. For example, Sun Wanxiang will no longer take the position as the director of services at Dongfeng Citroen. Cheng Qingfeng will leave the position of vice director of marketing to succeed Sun Wangxiang as the new director of services. Yang Ning will take the position as vice director of marketing. Ren Guang will leave the position of director of services to succeed Wang Dongping as the new director of sales. And Wang Dongping will be appointed a new position.
