China’s Didi Chuxing Charged Two Drivers with Improperly Claiming for Subsidizes
Gasgoo.com (Shanghai May 19th)-Didi Chuxing, a Chinese transportation network company like Uber, charged two drivers, Dong and Wang, with improperly claiming for subsidizes. As a result, Wang will be imprisoned for eight months and pay a fine of CNY 1,000 while Dong will be imprisoned for ten months and pay a fine of CNY 1,000.
Some drivers like Wang and Dong made some trades by pretending to be drivers in order to claim for subsidies offered by the company, violating rules. The increasing number of subsidy defrauding made by drivers has encouraged Didi Chuxing to adopt measures including improving technology of big data analysis and launching more rules regulating operation.
Improperly claiming for subsides, as some people think, may not lead to anything serious except for accounts getting ruled out by the company or a fine of little money. However, drivers who have improperly claimed for subsides have broken laws and may be brought to sanctions.
Fewer drivers will risk their freedom to commit subsidy defraud in the future if the company can inform against those law-breaking drivers as soon as possible.
