Fast Auto becomes world top heavy-duty transmission supplier
Shaanxi Fast Auto Drive Group Co., a Chinese auto parts supplier of heavy duty transmissions and gears, has become world's largest heavy-duty (15 tons and up) transmission manufacturer, the Beijing-based Auto Weekly reported.
In 2007, Fast Group's output and sales of heavy duty transmission topped 430,000 units, up 88 percent from one year earlier. The company now controls 92-percent of China’s heavy duty transmission market.
The company has an annual production capacity is 500,000 units of heavy duty transmissions, 15 million pieces of auto gears, 80,000 tons of auto forgings. Its products are exported to over ten countries and regions, including America, Germany, Japan, and Australia.
Fast Group's sales revenue topped 6 billion Yuan ($832.6 million) last year, according to the company's official announcement.
