Rolls Royce sold 106 vehicles in Chinese market last year

Shanghai. February 3 (Gasgoo.com) –Rolls Royce, a world-class luxury brand owned by BMW group, sold 185 Royce Rolls vehicles in Asia market last year and 106 of them were sold in Chinese market, BMW senior sales and marketing official announced earlier this week.
 
Stefan Krause, BMW’s board of management member in charge of sales and marketing said Rolls Royce sold 1,100 Roll Royce vehicles last year worldwide and about 10% were sold in Chinese market. China has become Rolls Royce’s third largest market after the United States and United Kingdom.
 
Led by vigorous growth of China, India and Singapore markets, Rolls Royce witnessed a strong surge of 30% in sales in Asian market last year. The world class luxury opened three exhibition facilities in Beijing, Chengdu and Shanghai last year.
 
On average, Rolls Royce sells 1,000-2,000 luxury sedans a year throughout the world. In 1990, Rolls Royce sold over 3,000 sedans worldwide, a historical sales record before or since.
