Peguform to build $200 M joint venture plant in Changchun

Shanghai. March 4 (Gasgoo.com) – German auto suppliers Peguform has invested $200 million to build a joint venture in China’s northeastern city of Changchun, local media reported last week.
 
The Changchun Peguform Automotive Plastic Tech Co, a joint venture between German supplier Peguform and Changchun Automotive Trim Co was founded in Changchun Economic Development Zone to produce door panel and ABC pillars and other interior decorations for upscale cars. It is Peguform’s first joint venture project in China.
 
Changchun Automotive Trim Co is one of China’s top 100 auto part suppliers. The company supplies instrument panels, door panels, sun roof and other interior decorations to China’s major OEM makers, like FAW-VW, Shanghai GM, Chery, Dongfeng PSA, SAIC, Beijing Benz.
 
The Peguform Group is the top 25 auto parts supplier in Germany and top 100 worldwide. The company supplier door panels, bumpers, instrument panels, ABC pillars and other interior decoration products to Audi, BMW, VW, GM, Mercedes-Benz, Opel, Fiat and Porsche.
